The 2024 Isuzu D-Max 4×4 X-Rider is now available at a $56,990 drive-away price, a reduction of over $2500 from the standard list price. This offer is valid until 31 March 2025 or while stocks last.

Discounted Pricing and Added Benefits
The D-Max 4×4 X-Rider, which typically carries a $59,500 list price excluding on-road costs, now offers a lot better value for the money at these reduced prices. Without the drive-away discount, buyers would typically pay around $64,000 after factoring in registration and other charges. In a sense, Isuzu is offering savings of $7010 on the X-Rider.
As part of the offer, Isuzu is including:
- Five years or 7,500km flat-price servicing, available only at authorised Isuzu service centres
- Six-year warranty for added peace of mind
- Seven years of roadside assistance, contingent on servicing at an authorised Isuzu dealer

D-Max X-Rider: Mid-Spec Utility with Black Edition Styling
Isuzu added the X-Rider variant as a regular offering in the D-Max list of variants last year. Based on the D-Max LS-M 4×4 crew cab, it is powered by a 3.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine producing 140kW and 450Nm, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. With a 3500kg braked towing capacity, it remains a capable workhorse.
Key standard features include:
- LED headlights
- 8.0-inch infotainment screen with four-speaker stereo
- Adaptive cruise control
- Rear differential lock
- Damped tailgate
- Rain-sensing wipers

Visually, the X-Rider sports a ‘black pack’ exterior treatment, featuring a black and grey front grille, mirror caps, door handles, and 17-inch gloss black alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tyres. A soft tonneau cover and black sports bar complete the rugged aesthetic.
This particular variant of the Isuzu D-Max competes with the likes of the Ford Ranger Black Edition and Mitsubishi Triton GLS.

Isuzu D-Max: A Top Performer in Australian Ute Sales
Isuzu UTE Australia continues to perform strongly in the competitive ute market. In 2024, the D-Max was one of the best-selling vehicles in the country, outsold only by the Ford Ranger and Toyota HiLux. We are expecting Isuzu to keep rolling out updates for the popular ute, including a mild-hybrid powertrain to comply with the NVES and keep up with electrified offerings from Toyota, Ford and BYD.

For the more enthusiastic ute buyers, Isuzu introduced the D-Max Blade variant near the end of 2024 with an introductory list price of $76,990 drive-away. Developed in conjunction with Australia-based Walkinshaw, the D-Max Blade has been given a host of functional upgrades that make it a more rugged and capable ute off-road, but there’s no change in the performance figures.
