The 2025 Nissan Patrol has received its second interior overhaul in 12 months for the Australian market. Four years after the US market received the Patrol as the Armada with a more high-tech interior, the cabin for Australian buyers finally aligns with the global model.
This update replaces last year’s port-fitted touchscreen solution (a temporary fix to add Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) with a factory-integrated 12.3-inch infotainment system, alongside a 7.0-inch digital driver display and other premium features.

Key upgrades for MY25 Nissan Patrol
- New 12.3-inch touchscreen (up from 10.1 inches) with native Nissan software, embedded navigation, and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto—replacing the aftermarket iGo Street and Hema 4×4 maps.
- 7.0-inch TFT instrument cluster (with digital speedometer and Off-Road Monitor for torque distribution/roll angle).
- Return of the 360-degree camera (dropped in 2024) and 13-speaker Bose audio (replacing the interim Infinity system).
- Revised center console with relocated wireless charger and updated climate controls.
- Two leather-accented trim options: Chestnut Brown (quilted with woodgrain accents) or Ebony Black (minimalist).
Downgrades and Ti-L exclusives
- Digital radio was removed entirely.
- Front cool box and digital rearview mirror are now restricted to the top Ti-L grade.

Patrol Warrior tweaks
The off-road-focused Patrol Warrior gains the Ti’s updates plus:
- Black side steps and aggressive styling.
- 50mm higher ride height (suspension + all-terrain tires).
- Alcantara interior trim and Warrior-exclusive badging.
Unchanged under the hood
The 5.6L V8 petrol engine (298kW/560Nm) and 7-speed automatic carry over, retaining the Patrol’s rugged 4WD capability.
The updated Patrol is in showrooms now, competing head-to-head with the Toyota LandCruiser in Australia’s luxury 4WD segment.

Pricing and availability
All variants receive modest price increases for 2025. Here’s how they line up:
Variant | New price (Before on-road costs) | Price increase |
Patrol Ti | $90,600 | +$1,340 |
Patrol Ti-L | $102,100 | +$140 |
Patrol Warrior | $105,660 | +$140 |
Why the double update?
The Nissan Patrol, while popular, was criticised for the dated dashboard that had stayed the same since the model was introduced in 2013. Meanwhile, similarly priced and more affordable competitors were offering more up-to-date tech experiences inside the cabin. So, Nissan Australia had partnered with a Melbourne supplier to retrofit CarPlay in the 2024 Patrol. Now, that update is pretty much moot with the nicer and more comprehensive cabin update.
The MY25 model marks the official rollout of the global dashboard for Australian buyers, launching just 18 months before an all-new Patrol is due. It’s hard to explain the rationale behind the timing of these updates without direct answers from Nissan, but we expect more surprises of improved and updated products from the Japanese carmaker in the coming months.
