The Toyota C-HR was intended to disrupt the compact SUV market, and it certainly achieved its aim on its release in 2017.
Drivers were suitably surprised at the level of luxury, exterior style and power of the C-HR, and the model has continued to sell well in Australia, with reviews being overwhelmingly positive across the board.
Both entry level and up-spec models have comprehensive safety features and Toyota"s nifty gadgetry as standard, with the Koba adding keyless entry and ignition, an air purifying climate control system, leather-accented upholstery, 18-inch alloys, LED headlamps and tail lamps, heated front seats, privacy glass, blue interior ambient lighting and optional two-tone bodywork.
The C-HR’s advanced safety technology includes automatic high-beam headlights, radar-based adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure alert and forward collision warning with autonomous emergency braking.
In 2019 the C-Hr received a facelift, adding a hybrid engine option to the top-spec Koba range.
