The Holden Trax is a decent small SUV. Trouble is it has to compete against some great small SUVs.

In 1.8-litre guise it lacks vim, something overcome by the 1.4-litre turbo in more expensive variants.

Apart from that it is a nippy and fun drive with a good level of tech for its era and a decent-sized 387 litre boot to aid its credentials as a city runabout.
